Responsible for setting up and optimizing parameters for new tools and jobs in the injection molding process. Ensure high-quality standards to meet customer expectations. Contribute to the design phase to optimize production efficiency.
Key Responsiblities:
• Set and document processing parameters for new tools and products.
• Troubleshoot and implemnt process improvements.
• Maintain detailed records of machine setup, start-up, and process changes.
• Support training efforts for junior technicians.
• Collaborate with Tool Technicians to repair molds and press components.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of production goals.
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of experience in injection molding.
• Familiarity with various plastic resins.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Oversee the engineering and technical aspects of projects from initiation to completion. Ensure timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and quality results through detailed planning and execution.
Key Responsiblities:
• Act as primary liaison with customers for new programs.
• Lead internal Product Development Team (PDT) efforts.
• Track tooling progress and provide weekly project status updates.
• Ensure design and tool feasibility for manufacturing.
• Support cost estimation and control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate modifications and repairs with manufacturing.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management.
• 4+ years of experience managing technical projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Familiarity with industriy standards, regulations, and best practices.
Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications through rigorous analysis, inspection, and process validation.
Key Responsiblities:
• Prepare and submit complete PPAP documentation.
• Investigate customer complaints and drive timely corrective actions.
• Conduct final product inspections and maintain calibration records.
• Maintain and track gage control systems and MTE (Measuring & Test Equipment).
• Interface with customer engineering for critical characteristic definitions.
Requirements:
• Degree in a technical field preferred.
• 3-5 years of quality or manufacturing experience, ideally in automotive injection molding.
• Knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA, Gage R&R, LEAN, Six Sigma, ISO/TS standards.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when necessary.
Lead new program launches valued up to $3 million in tooling and equipment. Serve as the central point of contact for internal teams and customers, ensuring successful execution from concept to production.
Key Responsiblities:
• Utilize WPS APQP system to launch programs within scope and budget.
• Maintain accurate BOM's and manage changes post-SOP through the WPS PCN process.
• Lead feasibility reviews, run-at-rate trials, and gateway milestone reviews.
• Collaborate with Sales and Engineering on requirements and cost control.
• Oversee tooling and equipment suppliers to meet quality, budget, and timing targets.
• Drive post-SOP improvements and lead major engineering changes.
Requirements:
• BS in Engineering or Plastics Technology.
• 1-3 years of program management experiance, plus 3-5 years in injection molding.
• Strong
knowledge of tooling, processing, and CAD systems (CATIA/ProE preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
