Production Team Lead, Lebanon, Ky - Adheres to all EPC safety rules, policies, and procedures, Reports all safety incidents and or accidents immediately to his/her direct Supervisor, Ensures work area, work cells, secondary equipment, and molding machines assigned are maintained in a safe, clean, and organized manner per set policies and procedures, Ensures staffing is properly aligned and that work assignments are properly communicated in all assigned areas (Relief and Operators), Ensures new and existing Operators are trained to the defined Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, and Approved Time Studies (where applicable), ensures new and existing Operators have all tools required to run assigned job (PPE, Label Guns, Trimming / Cutting Tools, etc.), Ensures that all training conducted is properly documented for all Operators, Performs daily cycle / test of “Red Rabbits” through assigned secondary equipment. Documents pass / fail and obtains necessary support when required, Monitors hourly pieces produced versus standard, documents on Line Status Board, and obtains support from resources as required if outside of acceptable target, Monitors hourly scrap rate at all assigned areas, documents on Line Status Boards, and obtains support from resources as required if outside of acceptable target, Monitors quality of product produced through random visual checks, discussions with Operators, Quality Auditors, and communicates all potential issues / risk immediately to Production Supervisor, Ensures a proper “Line Clearance” is conducted at all areas assigned in relation to a Mold Change, Color Change, Material Change, and or Insert Change , Audit Labels on Containers and match product in Containers … Right / Left Hand … Correct part number, Monitors and supports Break System for all team members assigned, Takes daily attendance of all personnel in assigned area of responsibility and communicates to Production Supervisor, Acts as liaison between Production Supervisor, Relief and Production Operators, Coordinates with Relief and or Material Handlers to keep materials and supplies in stock, Communicates machine or mechanical issues to Process Tech’s, Maintenance Tech’s, and/or Supervisors, Maintains a strong professional demeanor at all times and always “Leads by Example” and possess a “Can do attitude”.
